Hi every one.
I have two new pistols, one Is about 2 weeks old and the other I picked up yesterday. They are both Dan Wessons 1911, the older one "Wow" Is a PM7, 5"BRL. S.S. target sights, In 45ACP. The newer one "Wow" Is also S.S. and It's a Classic, 4" BRL. 10mm, Bobtail and It has Trijicon H3-09 nights sights on It. Just more toys!!!

I sent away for a Lee 4 die set In 10mm and they will go on my Dillon 550B press. I have a set of S&W40 cal. dies, but I also have an extra powder mesure and die plate so It will be an easy change over. I have powder, bullets, primers but no empty 10mm cases, I think I have a couple hundred on hand, but I have to get more. Midway was out of stock, I have to check a couple of others.
That's it for now, Semper Fi all. Hank.

Pics and thoughts after firing. Ive always been interested in one of the bobtails but have always been concerned with how it feels in the hand when firing.

Hi guys.
I belong to 2 outdoor ranges and I don't like shooting with my teeth chattering and my nose running. I also have a hard time breathing In this cold weather, part of getting old, and the only way I know of beatting that, Is to die young!!! As I write this, I have at least 5 or 6 handguns that I want to shoot for the first time. The 2 Dan Wessond, 1 a 45ACP 5" BRL. and the other a 10mm 4 1/4" BRL. that I just got, along with the FNP-45 also a used Mod#4013 S&W In 40cal. A Firestorm compact in 45ACP and a Taurus 24/7 in 40cal.

And my camera Is not working so no photos, sorry, As far as the Bob tail goes this will be the first for me also, I just put two sets of Hogue rubber grips on the two Dan Wessons, with the finger grooves, I cut and sanded the ones for the Bob tail to fit, that's the one that's 10mm.It's Just like the Colt Combat Commander. The only other Indoor range that I know of Is Shooters Choice up In Dover, Does anyone know of an Indoor range down here In Sussex county or lower Kent??? If so, please let me know.

I shoot at JD Defense, In Georgetown, on Rt.9 or at the Bridgeville range In, You guessed it, Bridgeville??? I never shot a 10mm, I'm looking forward to that also, I sent for a new 4 die set for the 10mm for my Dillon 550B press, I have a set for the 40S&W but I want to keep them by them selves, so that It would be easy to set up. But I need empty 10mm cases, they are on back order every place, I did find about 180 loaded one's. Enough to start and try out the new puppy. I will give a range report, If and when done.

Hi everyone.
Better late than never for a range report on the FN45, 2 Dan Wessons, Taurus 24/7, A loaded Springfield. They all ran very well, no bad news on any of them. The 2 Dan Wesson's, 5"BRL. In 45ACP, and the 10mm 4 1/4"BRL + Bob tail ran great. I have to say that they are two of the nicest 1911s that I ever shot, Fit, finish & triggers and all around handling out of the box!!!
And now that spring has sprong, I'll try to get to the range more often, I reload so I'm OK In the ammo dept.
In God we trust, all others pay cash, Semper Fi all. Hank.
