If I still lived in DE, I'd be applying for MD & NJ too.
(sudden realization) I just got back from a few nights in California visiting a friend... I wonder if I can get a CA non-res permit now?
california is not only making it even more difficult/intrusive/expensive to get the permit, but it will also be even more restrictive in where you would be allowed to carry. the list of places you could theoretically carry is actually less than places you can't. normally, it would be a short list of places you can't, like gov't buildings, schools, etc. not in cali. you might be able to take it to your mailbox and back to your house with what they are trying to do
imagine living in a state where all they had to do was change "may" to "shall" after the bruin case, and they make new more restrictive 2A laws
jersey is another place i would gladly go the long way to get around, so i don't have much interest in getting that one. the main states i travel to from DE are PA and MD. i don't have much business in MD but i do have family there so now it's a relief that i don't have to worry about
that aspect if i ever have an interaction with law enforcement.
