Training overlap covering DE and MD CCW
« on: August 15, 2022, 03:13:43 PM »
Assuming an instructor is qualified in both DE and MD, are there enough overlaps in the two courses to combine the training into a single 16 hour  course?
I realize DE is only 8 hours but if there was enough redundancy, could both be satisfied simultaneously?

I would say yes.  My Maryland course overlapped with people going for Arizona and Florida.  I would imagine Delaware would be no different. The Maryland shooting regime would cover about 1/4 of what Delaware requires (100 rounds fired) so it could be piggybacked. I don’t see why trainers would have any incentive to do this as now they can collect a fee for each.
