New permit holder…
« on: October 17, 2022, 09:38:08 AM »
New permit holder here!

I applied on 7/8/22, and to my surprise on 10/15/22 she was in the mail. I applied in NCC, and I was expecting to wait close to 6 months. Looks like things are starting to roll once again.

PA and Maryland next?  When you live in Delawhere, you are always crossing state lines.

PA easy depending on the local sheriff, check ahead, you need existing DE permit.   Md, I am not yet convinced, but some here have had success.

If you are prior military, Maryland is not difficult.  The 16 hour training is a bear especially as you will be redoing a lot of what you did for Delaware.  Prior military is exempt.

Beyond that it is much easier than Delaware.  You will need to have your prints taken in Maryland using the “Livescan” system.  Everything is on line and you can track your progress.

Wife and I did the MD class in Salisbury in August.  Did prints at Berlin PD.  Waiting on approval, should be in the next week or two.  Except for the class, definitely easier process than DE.
