California’s Ban on Guns in Most Public Places Is Blocked Again

Just a week after the law was allowed to take effect, a federal appeals court reinstated a lower court’s ban on enforcement of  the California revenge carry ban

California is barred again from enforcing its ban on guns in most public places after a federal appeals court ruled on Saturday that a lower court’s block on the ban should stand.

In December a Federal Judge blocked the ban which would have banned carry in virtually all places including business and private vehicles.  Even with a carry license. This law was a “revenge” law by Governor Newsome in response to the Shall Issue mandate of the Bruen decision.

On December 27th a three judge appeals panel overturned that and the law went into January 1st. 

Today, another appeal panel overturned that stay and blocked enforcement of the law.
