So this is a standalone offense as to carrying any weapon in a safe recreation zone, and not just a firearm?

I was at the DSSA meeting yesterday.  As I understand it, there is a lawsuit ready to go the moment the GUV signs it.  I would say, as many people as possible contact the Guv and suggest he not sign this bill.  It has nothing to do with safety.  They tried to redefine the meaning of a firearm. but this seems to cover almost anything.  Avoid school if you have a penknife.

Sad to say but aside from lawsuits it's really a lost cause as far as stopping legislation before it starts.  And not even court rulings are stopping it
