I got a LFA Apollo 11 compact a few months ago, for anyone looking for a ?budget? 2011 type pistol, this is the one. I did a very thorough cleaning and did what I could at home before taking it to the range. I purchased 4 different brands of jhp and only one had a few ftf, after a couple hundred rounds it handles those just the same as everything else I feed it, the pistol eats everything and wants more. I?ve never been much of an optic guy for pistols, but put a holoson green dot on it, they go through the same hold at 15 yards, it?s actually pretty ridiculous. At this point, the grip is probably the only thing I?d change, but I?ll have to consult a gunsmith about that, with the weapon having a grip safety I?d want this done by a professional. I bought it at the recommendation of the shop owner and he was not wrong. On a side note, I?m really having a love/hate relationship with my sp101, if next range trip isn?t satisfactory, I?m going to trade it. I may be expecting too much from it at distance though?
