New user, old permit
« on: February 11, 2010, 11:12:34 PM »
I just filed my second renewal application... days before the law changed, so I'm not sure what I'll get in the mail: a 3-year permit, or a request for more money?

I usually carry a Glock 29 and a spare magazine in a Safepacker.

Welcome oldgraygeek!

I'm new on here myself, but new to carrying as well.  It's great to have your experience here.

Again, welcome, and look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome to the forum.

Maybe this will help you out on your permit renewal. I put in my renewal on Feb 4. for the three year renewal. I asked about the new five year renewal and they hadn't heard anything about the Governor signing it yet.
The next week the Prothonotary's office called and said the Governor signed the law on Feb. 3 and anyone filing for renewal from the 3rd on would be eligible for the five year renewal if they wanted to send in the additional $30.50
or I could leave it at the three year for the 34.50 already paid.

Guess what I did. ;)

I got the same call, and I sent them a check too.
