Taken Into Custody For Legally Buying Guns
« on: March 15, 2010, 07:41:02 PM »
This could be interesting. It seems a "very disgruntled" employee who was fired went out and bought some guns. The police got involved and took the man into "protective custody" for a mental health evaluation as a precaution.  The gun purchase was legal.  This could cross the line in several legal areas but I will withhold passing judgment until I can see more evidence.  What do you think?

Wow, I need to know the whole story on this, If he made a comment like I'm gonna come back and kill everyone then yes I believe the police acted right especially giving the circumstances. But with-out knowing the whole story then I don't know.

On the surface it sounds like a big to do over not much. The police brought in a swat team and negotiator andthe guy came right out after a phone call. I agree if he had made a threat then he should have been watched, but the news article makes it sound kinda fishy.
Honey I swear I've had that gun for years!
