new member, question about reason for application
« on: March 24, 2010, 01:36:35 AM »
Hello, I am a middle-age, new member from New Castle. In the last few years I had the urge to relive my youth a little, when I competed in some NRA Smallbore tournaments and had a lot of fun shooting with my Dad and hunting with friends. I found that I now really like handguns and have tried to seriously hone my skills. Recently I decided to go for a CCDW permit, have taken the course, got references, photos, etc. and am now filling out the application. How specific does one have to be in the Reason for Application space? Can I just say for personal and property protection? Does it help to be more or less specific? I would appreciate any advice. - czer

Welcome, and as far as a reason goes you will find everyone has their own feeling about what should be put, I personally used for protection of person, property and or both and it worked for me some say you need to put more.
