...do u recommend carrying without a holster?
EEEEEKKK! No, that probably wouldn’t be your best bet. First, your body twists, flexes, and shifts a lot as you go about your daily routine. Whether you're reaching up for that can of peas at Acme, bending down to pick up a quarter off of the ground, or getting out of your car – things are a shiftin’. You don’t want the weapon to shift a lot, not only because it may fall out, but also because you don’t want to reinforce the newbie practice of constantly checking your weapon (which is giveaway that you are carrying a weapon). There’s also the wear factor of the weapon sliding against the fabrics, and the fact that perspiration doesn’t really do anything beneficial for the weapon. And, finally, there’s the smoothness of drawing/holstering that you simply can’t get by tucking it into your undies.
For the money, Galco makes some decent rigs. Also, because they make a lot of them, they’re always in stock. And there’s also that local guy who advertised on this board about custom-made rigs. You will probably wind up with a few, though, as you experiment. So, I wouldn’t drop any REAL coin until you are exactly sure of what you want, like, and need.
