Help with a 1911 style parts gun
« on: December 31, 2010, 03:05:04 PM »
Hi,
I have a 1911 type gun that is made up of parts from various manufacturers. Who can I get to look at it and see if it can be "tightened up" as it accuracy is poor.

As far as locally I'm not sure but google "1911 gun smiths" and you will find some very good and expensive smiths who can help you. It will all depend on what parts you have used and what the gun means to you. It can get very expensive when it comes to 1911's or try the 1911 Forum.

Paul Lamanna is a gunsmith.  He is very good.  He is located off of Capital Trail and Possum Park Road.
